Newly Renovated Emergency Department | Baltimore, MD
Sinai Hospital is seeking a skilled and mission-driven Nurse Manager to join our newly renovated and expanded Emergency Department.
What You’ll Do
Sinai Hospital is home to premier trauma, cardiac, pediatric, and surgical programs and now features a newly renovated Emergency Department designed for speed, safety, and enhanced patient flow.
The Renovation Includes
Responsible for ensuring that safe, age-appropriate patient care is provided during hours of unit operation. Functions as role model, advisor, resource, and leader for other members of the patient care team. Unified by the core purpose of creating a healthier community one person at a time, the members of the Division of Patient Care Services commit themselves to sustaining a culture focused on achieving optimal patient outcomes. Each employee is obligated to deliver highly reliable care while adhering to all National Patient Safety Goals. Newly Renovated Emergency Department | Baltimore, MD
Sinai Hospital is seeking a skilled and mission-driven Nurse Manager to join our newly renovated and expanded Emergency Department.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality care to emergency and trauma-level patients
- Respond rapidly to critical changes and emergent situations
- Serve as a clinical resource to patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Support evidence-based practice, patient experience, and quality standards

The Renovation Includes
- Expanded footprint nearly double its previous size
- Larger patient rooms, trauma bays, and triage areas
- New dedicated ambulance intake wing with rapid offloading design
- Expanded waiting areas for improved throughput and comfort
- Dedicated pediatric and behavioral health treatment zones
- Urgent Care Center
- Chest Pain Evaluation Center
- Emergent Care Center
- Level II Trauma Center
- Pediatric Emergency Center
- Rapid Evaluation Unit (REU)
- Observation Center

Requirements
- BSN from a CCNE accredited School of Nursing. In addition, a MSN, MS, MA, MHA or MBA is preferred.
- 3 years of experience required/ 5 years progressive nursing experience preferred in a specified field with preference for demonstrated progression in supervisory responsibilities.
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support per unit guideline.
- AHA Advanced Life Support per unit guidelines.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- American Heart Association BLS Certification.
- Neonatal resuscitation program per unit guidelines.
- Nat'l Cert. (preferred w/i 1 year of hire)
